Grown organically
We farm with natural, low-input methods — no synthetic pesticides or herbicides and a focus on living soil and the long-term health of the trees.
No GMOs, ever
Only native Sicilian cultivars, grown as nature intended. Nothing genetically modified ever enters our groves or our oil.
Small-batch production
We press in small batches and never blend across regions or harvests, so every bottle is traceable to a single origin and season.

Our commitment.
Castruriali extra virgin olive oil is cold extracted below 27°C using the latest Pieralisi technology, by mechanical means alone — no heat and no chemicals. The fresh oil is rested in stainless steel tanks to settle and balance, then hand-bottled at source into light-shielding green glass with an aluminium anti-refillable cap.
Every batch is independently tested for free acidity, peroxides and polyphenols, and held to extra virgin standards well within the legal limits. We keep records of each harvest and pressing so any bottle can be traced back to the grove and the day it was made.
We handle food hygienically and responsibly at every stage, in line with UK Food Standards Agency guidance and good manufacturing practice. If you ever have a question about a specific bottle or batch, write to us and we will tell you exactly where it came from.
