Every bottle of Castruriali begins with old trees, hard soil and the families who care for them. The Founding Leaf Fund lets anyone give something back. We cover the card fees, so every pound you give is spent in the Sicilian groves.

100% of every contribution goes back to the land.
Replanting
Young olive trees planted in the groves around Castroreale, where old trees have been lost.
Reviving abandoned groves
Neglected old trees brought back into care: pruning, clearing and restoring the terraces they stand on.
Soil, water and biodiversity
Cover crops, careful watering, dry-stone walls, wildflowers and bees between the trees.
Partner farmers
Practical support for the farming families across Sicily who grow for Castruriali, such as the Monte family in Salemi.
Everyone who gives hears back from the groves, with photographs and news of what the fund has paid for.

Founding Leaf is the name we give to the companies that put down roots with us.
